Delete your account

Removes your Supabase Auth record and user-owned app data in Supabase. It does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Future Self uses Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email one-time passcodes. If you use email, request a new code from the sign-in screen. If you use Apple or Google, manage that account through Apple or Google directly.

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

Manage subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play account used for purchase. In the app, open the You tab and the subscription screen when available. Account deletion in Future Self does not cancel store billing.

Cancelling usually stops the next renewal while keeping access through the period you already paid for, unless the applicable store or mandatory law provides otherwise.

How do I request a refund?

App Store refunds are handled by Apple. Google Play refunds are handled by Google or under Google Play rules. We cannot guarantee a refund, but you can email us if you need help finding the right store support path. This does not limit mandatory Dutch or EU consumer rights that may apply.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and your user-owned app data in Supabase, except limited records that may need to be retained by us or our providers for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, app-store, or payment-record reasons.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings → Account → Export my data. Future Self creates a JSON export and opens the share sheet.

How do I restore purchases?

Use the Restore purchases option on the paywall. Make sure you are signed into the same App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase. If restoration still fails, email us with the store and approximate purchase date.

Why is my notification missing?

Check that notifications are enabled for Future Self in device settings, then open the app once to refresh your session and push token. Delivery also depends on Apple, Google/Firebase if applicable, Expo Push, network connectivity, and your device settings.

Why is my widget not updating?

Open Future Self once to refresh your session and widget configuration. Confirm your widget is configured, your device has network access, and Low Power Mode or background-refresh restrictions are not preventing updates. If it still does not update, email us with your device model, iOS version, and what you expected to see.

How do I make a privacy request?

Use Settings → Account → Export my data or Settings → Account → Delete account for the fastest self-service controls.
